I have been DYING to try the new Aveeno Positively Nourishing shampoo and conditioner, but being the frugal shopper I am couldn’t bring myself to spend $7 something per bottle. Well, last weekend WalMart “rolled back” the price to $5.97. Still pricy, but I had a couple of $2 coupons and price matched at Zellers to get my 10% SPC discount.
So here’s how it worked out:
2 * $5.97 = $11.94 – 2 * $2 coupons = $7.94 – 10% SPC discount ($0.79) = $7.15 total. $7.15 / 2 = $3.57 each. Not a bad deal!
The Aveeno Positively Nourishing line varieties available are: Revitalize, Moisturize, Volumize, and Soothe which is available in shampoo but not conditioner. I can get my hairbrush through it with ease right out of the shower without the vigorous 20 minute battle that’s become part of my daily routine as of late. It smells fantastic. The thing that amazes me most is how SOFT my hair is! I can’t stop touching it… it’s incredible! I honestly don’t think I’ll ever use any other shampoo or conditioner again after Aveeno.
